Before the infamous School Board race of 2000, the Bersin school board majority of Ottinger, Lopez and Braun voted to increase the amount one could contribute to a School Board race to $500 per election cycle. I thought that was a bad idea then, and I still do. It exceeds amounts permitted even by our notorious City Council. Why don't you talk about that in your stories on money in elections? And why don't you reveal that Katerhine Nakamura has not yet filed the latest required campaign finance report at the Registrar of Voters and is being fined daily for that infraction?
